Nick and Barbara
Nick and Barbara had a picture perfect wedding on Lake Junaluska ( hope I spelled that right) with a festive reception at Laurel Ridge CC in Waynesville. We had a super portrait session after the ceremony where the light semmed to be great at every turn. Sophia Jekic once again did an incredible job as 2nd photographer and a large part of their album will no doubt include her amazing images. Aaron Morrell did video and I can't wait to see it.

Great Honor
Last week I got a call from Vanderbilt University and was commissioned to photograph one of their alums who served as a US ambassador overseas. The shoot was for the Vanderbilt Magazine summer edition. If I get permission to, I will post a few photos. In the meantime we are booking some cool weddings well into 2009. Future shoot locations include La, Fl, NY, SC, GA ( Savannah) and of course NC including Chapel Hill.
Below is a long time friend of mine C.S. who has been a big help in getting AI to where it is now, very creative, always full of ideas. I grabed this shot of her in an old 1920's Brownstone in Harlem NY. Thanx cat!

Giles and Danielle

Ericka and I were so happy to be at Giles and Danielle's wedding. We had a blast with their e-session in Charleston and we got to know them a little and were very impressed with them. If we ever have kids and if they ever date we want them to do it like these guys did.
Please see the featured weddings section of the main website for a nice collection of images from the big day at Table Rock SC which is only 20 minutes from our house. The above photos were taken at a spot that was special to the couple and what you see above is their 1st glimpse of each other in the wedding attire. For brides and grooms that want to start photos early in the day this is a great way to have a private and meaningful 1st glimpse and of course it makes for a great photo opp. The photos above were both taken at a distance just seconds after Giles walked out on the dock to find his bride waiting for him. Good stuff. Don't forget to visit thier gallery!
John and Melanie

As described below, the e-session with John and Melanie was a fun and very productive early morning session. The wedding day was even better. Despite some pesky storms moving through, we had a storybook wedding day. Sophia Jekic provided 2nd angles once again. Above are but a few of the great images from the day. Look for the rest in a top secret AI production due in June! SHHHHH!!!!
